Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services (PRP)

Our Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) is available for King Health clients who require a level of care that goes beyond standard therapy. If a therapist determines the client to be eligible for PRP, they can be seen up to 6 times per month by one of our Rehabiliation Counselors. Counselors then work with clients to develop and implement an Individualized Treatment Plan, which addresses specific needs that a client may have. It will also establish specific goals to work towards during each session.
PRP services are typically offered in person. Sessions can take place at any of our office locations, at a client’s home, or wherever appropriate in the community. We have Counselors available to see clients in Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and PG County. PRP sessions are arranged directly between the client and their counselor to find dates and times that work best for both parties. PRP services are delivered by our Rehabilitation Counselors, who undergo a minimum of 40 hours of training before providing any direct care services. All Rehabilitation Counselors have received at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
