Hi! I’m Charzetta! I recognize that everyone has their own unique perspectives. I find that I am adaptable to the diverse needs of clients. In order to maintain professionalism and remain personable, I practice regular self-reflection, engage in supervision, and participate in continuing education. I received my Masters from The University of Maryland School of Social Work. I feel a calling to the mental health profession, viewing my work as a vocation and finding deep fulfillment in contributing to the well-being of others.

It’s essential for me as a clinician to approach each client with spiritual and cultural sensitivity, respect, and openness. Some clients may not identify with a particular spiritual/cultural tradition, while others may find spirituality/culture to be a central aspect of their identity. It’s crucial for me to engage in open and non-judgmental conversations, allowing clients to express their beliefs and values in a safe and supportive space. Cultural competence and sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds of my clients contribute to a positive therapeutic alliance.
